Hiding Connecting Cables

There is nothing worse then seeing all the cables hanging from your Plasma TV. The solution is either to run your connecting cables through the wall, or hide the cables through piping that is the same color as your walls.

For Drywall - Running cables through a wall is the best approach but not always the easiest. It requires cutting two holes - one behind your TV, and the other where you want them to come out; once these holes are completed, just fish the cables through the wall.

For Brick - Running cable through a brick wall is more difficult - you may need to hire an electrician though you can do it yourself if you're handy with that kind of construction project.

Baseboards - Probably the cheapest and easiest is to pry off your baseboards (if you have them) and run the cords behind them. Them put your baseboards back on. This all depends on whether or not the baseboards have been glued, nailed or screwed on.

Piping - A simple, thin, plastic tube the same color as your wall can conceal wires. Simply feed the wire through tube and place it where you need it.
